E-juice PG/VG Ratio Explained
E-Juice Throat Hit, Vapor, and Flavor Consistency Depend Greatly on the Base Mix you Select
Propylene glycol (PG): An organic, water soluable compound used as a flavor carrier in ejuice and also in the food and beverage industry and cosmetic industry for various applications. Known for being the thinner of the two components for ejuice. For more See Wikipedia's page on Propylene Glycol
Vegetable Glycerine(VG): An organic, water soluable compound used in ejuice and is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations including skincare. For ejuice it thickens the cloud of vapor and thickens the liquid. For more See Wikipedia's page on Vegetable Glycerine
General Rule Of Thumb:
It is best to start with a 50%PG/50%VG Ratio to start and then adjust to your preferences over time
More PG: Makes your ejuice thinner, and will produce more throat hit but less vapor.
More VG: Makes your ejuice thicker, and will produce less of a throat hit but produce more vapor.
Crave Premium Blend Ejuice Options Explained
30%PG ~ 70%VG : This will produce a large cloud with the least throat hit.
50%PG ~ 50%VG : This will produce moderate vapor cloud and moderate throat hit.
70%PG ~ 30%VG : This will produce the least cloud with a more noticable throat hit.
Custom Ratio: Feel free to add a note here if you want a ratio outside of our three options
Keep in mind throat hit also depends on how many milligrams of nicotine you select and what kind of device and at what voltage you are using it with. Menthol always helps increase throat hit if you are into the flavor.
Anything with nicotine may change to a light amberish color. Some of the flavorings will also cause a color change over time as the flavor steeps (melds, or intensifies)
Some flavors have natural color to them, others but very few have artificial coloring.
